Using OpenCascade

Integration with the OpenCascade modeler supports the conversion of Dtk_Body geometrical and topological objects into OpenCascade TopoDS_Shape objects.

Note

Datakit packages do not include an OpenCascade distribution. It is therefore the integrator's responsibility to set up the OpenCascade environment using the instructions provided in the following sections.

In particular, you will need to:

• Compile the Datakit integration sources against the headers of your OpenCascade version.
• Select the appropriate versions of Datakit LibUtilOCC and LibSdkOcc from the Datakit website.
• Link the integration source code against your own OpenCascade distribution.

The sample projects are configured by default to build against OpenCascade 7.7.0. You should compile and link the integration against your own version of OpenCascade (OCC).
